
Carole Labram
Investigator/Trainer
Carole has over 23 years’ experience as a safety professional in the research, logistics (rail, road and maritime), energy (electricity distribution and LNG) and civil construction industries throughout Australia as well as working for the Regulator as an inspector/investigator in Victoria.
Carole has strong communication and collaboration skills and works effectively at all levels of an organisation. As a result, she has been responsible for developing and implementing best practice WHS management systems and leading cultural change.
Her focus is on understanding systems, identifying gaps and making safety practical at a grass roots level. She maintains a keen interest in safety psychology, human factors and neuroscience to further improve safety in the workplace.
Carole has a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science (Hazardous Materials) and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Hazard Management. She is a Chartered Professional Member of the Safety Institute of Australia and a licensed Fire Safety Advisor in Queensland.
Carole joined the Safety Wise team in 2019.
