Corrective action development
We've spent nearly 20 years investigating some of the world’s most significant workplace incidents. As the founders of the ICAM methodology, we’re always fine-tuning our approach to ensure that our clients stay on the forefront of organisational improvement.
We aim to identify both local factors and failures within the broader organisation and productive system that contributed to the incident. This includes communication, training, operating procedures, incompatible goals, change management, organisational culture, and contractor management.
We analyse and identify what really went wrong and make recommendations for remedial actions to reduce risk and build error-tolerant defences against future incidents. The ICAM process incorporates risk management principles.
To date, ICAM has been used to investigate incidents and accidents in the transport (aviation, rail, and road), resources, utilities, construction, and government services around the world.
AVIATION RISK MANAGEMENT
We've been active in the resource industry aviation risk management sector with clients in offshore oil production, minerals exploration and fly-in/fly-out operations. We're proud of our involvement with the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) program from its inception in a developmental, advisory and implementation role.
We use the latest aviation risk management data gathering and analysis tools to ensure that our advice to clients represents current resource sector operating excellence standards. Our advice is congruent with the Flight Safety Foundation BARS program and our clients' risk management practices.
Our knowledge of the aviation industry, resource sector aviation activities and our relationships within these industries allows for benchmarking with other FSF BARS program members. We are involved with a client base that has both fixed-wing and rotary-wing activities covering the scope of management, operations, engineering, maintenance and safety.
